Privacy Policy

Effective August 8, 2026  ·  Steadfast Septic

1. Who we are

Steadfast Septic (“Steadfast,” “we,” “us”) installs, repairs, inspects and troubleshoots septic systems in Kootenai and Bonner Counties, Idaho, and Spokane County, Washington. You can reach us at 208-889-9944 or Tyler@SteadfastSeptic.com.

This policy explains what we collect through steadfastseptic.com, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Every form on this site collects the same fields: your name, phone number, email address, city, project type, timeline, and an optional description of your project. If you call, text, or email us, we keep a record of that conversation.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site or search that referred you. We use analytics tools to understand which pages are useful and which are not.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or store Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or credit card numbers through this website. If you pay us for work, payment is handled through a separate processor and card details never touch this site.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your request, quote your project, and schedule work
  • To contact you about a job in progress or a system we have serviced
  • To send occasional service reminders or offers, which you can opt out of at any time
  • To meet permit, inspection and record-keeping requirements that apply to septic work
  • To improve the website and understand which services people are looking for

4. Calls, texts and email

When you submit a form on this site, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message, or email about your project, including through automated systems. Consent is not a condition of buying anything from us. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop us from contacting you about work you have actually scheduled.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers who run our operations. Our customer messaging, estimating and scheduling platform (QuoteIQ), our text-messaging provider (Twilio), our website host (SiteGround), and our analytics provider (Google Analytics) process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Regulators, when septic work requires it. Permit applications, design submittals and inspection reports for septic systems are filed with agencies such as Panhandle Health District, the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, and the Spokane Regional Health District. These filings are part of the permitting process and are frequently public record.
  • Partners working on your job, such as the licensed designer, engineer, plumber, electrician or excavator assigned to your project, limited to what they need to do the work.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies to keep it working properly and to measure traffic. Analytics cookies tell us things like which pages get read and where visitors come from. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as well if you do. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting, and we honor it where our analytics provider supports it.

7. How long we keep it

We keep customer and project records for as long as we serve you and afterward for as long as we are required to, which for septic permits, designs and inspection records can be several years under state and county rules. Inquiries that never become jobs are kept for a reasonable period and then removed.

8. Your choices

  • Stop texts: reply STOP to any message from us.
  • Stop marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • See or delete your information: email Tyler@SteadfastSeptic.com and we will respond. We may need to keep records tied to permitted work even after a deletion request, because those records are required by regulation.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law to know what we hold, correct it, delete it, or opt out of certain uses. Contact us and we will honor those rights.

9. Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to customer records is limited to people who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a determined attacker will never succeed, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

10. Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Other sites

We link to sites we do not control, such as health district permit portals and our social media pages. Their privacy practices are their own.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
